Triple Dog Purchase & Privacy Policy

Sure, we make the best hot sauce in the world, but we put our pants on one leg at a time just like you. Privacy and security are important. Review the below at your convenience but should you have any questions at all, we welcome hearing from you.

Purchasing

Triple Dog accepts all major credit cards.

At Triple Dog we respect your privacy and security which is why use Stripe as an independent 3rd party payment processor. Stripe Incorporated is an audited PCI-certified Service Provider Level 1 by VISA global registry. This means that Triple Dog will not receive your credit card information, it will instead be processed directly through Stripe. 

Upon purchase you will receive to order confirmations. One will be the TripleDog.ca website’s order confirmation and the other will be Stripe’s payment confirmation. This does not mean you have been billed twice and is in place only for the purposes of your security.

Returns Policy

You may return any product which is more than ¾ full within 14 days of delivery for a full refund excluding shipping if not satisfied. In the case of damaged goods Triple Dog will ship a replacement product within 48 hours of being notified of the damaged goods.

Simply send a photo of the damaged goods to admin@tripledog.ca with your order information. No need to return the damaged item to us. We know what a hassle that can be.

If your purchase was found in the Deals section of the Triple Dog website refunds or replacements will apply only to those individual products within the kit that are damaged. If you are unsatisfied with an individual product within the kit our regular refund policy will apply to that individual product only at regular store rate with no need to return those products you are satisfied with.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping

We can ship to any address across North America via private courier and most international destinations as well. However; Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If you have concerns regarding the availability of products in your country please contact us at admin@tripledog.ca prior to purchase. In cases where a purchase is made and we are unable to deliver to your country an immediate refund will be issued.

It describes our privacy policy for Canadian visitors but is overall applicable to resident of the United States as well.

We receive and store any information you enter on our Website or give us in any other way, excluding financial data as described above. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features, such as coupons or promotions.

 

This information is particularly important and in your benefit. We use the information that you provide to respond to your requests, customize your experience on the site, improving our overall service, and to communicate with you. when needed or by request.

Automatic Information:

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Websites, we use “cookies,” although misleading and not crunchy or delicious at all, web cookies are also very important. They help our business to know who likes us the most. We're not collecting your name or anything (we're not that company that starts with an F and ends with a Book). Knowing what province or state you are accessing our site from for example helps us to optimize our shipping process and get products to our customers faster.

Email Communications:

To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we may receive a confirmation when you open email from us, afterall if nobody is opening our emails it means we're spamming people and we don't do that.

We will only ever contact you for one of three reasons - To confirm and complete your purchase - To address comp[laints or requests for assistance - To fulfil your request to receive our newsletter.

How Do We Share the Information we Gather

Information about our visitors is a necessary part of our business, and a portion of that necessity is the ability to share the info for appropriate reasons. We are not however in the business of selling it to others.

So what do we define as "appropriate reasons"? Well, for example, it's going to be real hard to get your package to you if we don't give the courier your address. Below are a few examples of the ways in which we may share your info.

As you may know, we often participate in "giveaways" and other joint marketing events. In these cases its a mutually agreed benefit for us and our partners to share the details pertaining to the results of these events. Again, we are referring here to demographic data, not your name or other very personal data, unless where that info is required to fulfil our promise to you.

Third-Party Service Providers:

We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Back to the courier example, but as well independent contractors who may perform accounting or other tasks on our behalf.

 

There are too many examples to list here, so let's look at what is not included under this section. We will not share your data with any organisation that will use it for purposes not directly related to Triple Dog. We will not share your data with any government organisation unless required to do so by law. Although I don't know why we ever would, we will not share your data with any private individual.

How Pertinent Are These Details

The last time these details, both purchase policy and privacy policy, were updated was April 9th 2021. We review our policies yearly to ensure they are both the best representation of our customers' interests and in good keeping with the law.
